I was excited that I could eat for a dine in experience at the movie theater! The gluten free options are limited, sandwiches and burgers, but it was still exciting to be able to eat. Everything is fried in the same fryer so I got a side salad instead of fries with my burger.
Our server was training in someone, so I heard her explain that they punch the “allergy” button twice so the kitchen knows it’s serious. Initially when our food was brought out (by someone else, not our server), I noticed that my bun was the same as everyone else’s. The girl was frazzled (she just dropped a tray) so handed me a burger without saying anything and walked away before I could ask. However, the seats have a call button so I pushed that, and the person who took our order came. I asked to verify it was gluten free, and she took it away right away to talk to the chef. She came back to apologize and let me know that I was given the wrong burger but mine was being made.
When I did get food, it was delicious. I did not get sick. Just make sure to verify that it’s gluten free when you receive it.
