this is one of my favourite restaurants in vancouver. mainly a pizza place, they have a selection of appetizers and salads, and a nice drink menu. i’ve only been here once (last week) since my celiac diagnosis — i ordered a pizza with gluten free crust, and noted that i am celiac so please avoid any cross contamination. they warned me they could not promise me 100% nothing would contaminate it, but that they would do their very best. i ate my pizza with the dipping sauce called 610 (sauce was gf), and i felt okay — very full, but okay. i also had my very favourite short ribs there, they weren’t marked gluten free on their menu so i asked what contained gluten: essentially their marinade for the short ribs includes one ingredient which is produced at a factory that won’t promise no cross contamination occurred, so that’s why they don’t mark the short ribs gf. i still ordered them and they were completely delicious. i don’t think this is a completely celiac safe place, since it’s primarily a pizza place and there will always be risk of cross contamination. however, some vices im not sure i can give up even being celiac and Parlour Pizza is one of them lol.
