Delicious and almost everything is or can be made gluten free. Nutella French toast is delicious. Tuna melt is the best I’ve had out. Friendly service and knowledgeable. A celiacs dream.

Excellent GF options - GF version of anything on menu except pancakes. Prepped separately if you alert them to celiac or allergic need. (GF French toast better than regular French toast!)

Amazing. Most of the menu can be made gluten free, except for the pancakes and homemade pop tarts. Both times I have gone there, I got the French toast, and it is amazing. The toast sometimes fall apart, but you expect that with gluten free stuff. It still tasted great. Very careful, when the toast is brought out it is wrapped up, and they have different colored plates marking what is gluten free. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.

Under staffed. 20-40 minute wait at 2pm on a Friday. Only one wait staff. We had kids that needed to eat and we couldn’t risk not eating for possibly an hour. Traveling gluten free, we had to move on. Unfortunately this area, like so many others, have little staff and lots of customers.

Great food. Almost whole menu can be made gluten free. Third time here and just keep coming back. Toast is in its own bag to prevent cross contamination. Thank you!

I know there’s already a ton of reviews here, but they’re just that good!! I am EXTREMELY sensitive, even to cross contamination, so it’s often hard to find places to eat. However, I’ve eaten here 3 times with no issue, and I’m so glad I found it! Out of their entire menu, breakfast and lunch, the only thing that CAN’T be made gluten free are the pancakes. Getting so many safe options is amazing!! I particularly love the French toast :) super sweet and helpful staff - they even often knowingly ask if I have celiac when I mention gluten free, and ensure they add notes to my order and it even comes out separately, before the rest of the table’s food to ensure it stays un-contaminated. They usually do carry out, but currently do not because of being short staffed. However, the service inside is still friendly, fast, and overall phenomenal.

Everything but the pancakes can be made gluten free! They have a separate part of the kitchen for GF items, and always bring out the celiac food before everything else!

Food was delicious but pricey. I told the waitress I had a gluten allergy and she then asked me if I had celiac and I said yes. Always comforting when then know what celiac is! When my food came out they set it in front of me said "we have the celiac french toast..."

My family enjoyed our take out meal from The Penguin Diner. Most of the menu is available gluten free and the items were clearly labeled. We got a tuna melt, french fries, chicken fingers and french toast and everything tasted great.

Fabulous meal! We ordered take-out for brunch, due to COVID, and were able to complete the order online. There was a special section to note allergies while ordering. The gluten-free food was clearly marked, and they even put the gluten free items in a separate bag from items containing gluten. The Nutella-banana French toast was amazing! Omelettes and home fries were also safe and delicious. For lunch/dinner, try the chicken tenders and fries. They’re amazing!

Tried the gluten free French toast and a cheese-free omelette. Not sure if the French toast was also dairy free. They will prepare to order and the food is delicious. Also like their dairy-free fruit smoothies.

Everything can be made gluten free other than Mac and cheese and pancakes. Staff was knowledgeable and made sure precautions were taken for cross contamination. Ordered lobster tacos which were very good. They only fry French fries and chips so they’re also good for celiac

You can’t go wrong when the owner of the restaurant has CD. They have a dedicated fryer. Everything on the menu is GF sans the Mac-n-cheese and pancakes! Our meals were delicious and this mom was rest assured that her kid would not be getting sick!

Excellent dinner! Ambiance was good and kid friendly. Their fryer is completely gluten free so I could enjoy the French fries and they do chicken nuggets gf that are quite good and everyone in our party (gf and non gf alike) enjoyed. Burger they do with a gf bun that didn’t fall apart. They have many gf options for all meals. Definitely recommend!!
Yes
Our family loves this place! Nearly everything on the menu can be done GF and they can work with casein allergies too. And a dedicated fryer! Got to get the Little Fingers (chicken tenders), and I love the seafood salad - crab, lobster, and shrimp on greens with your choice of dressing. So good!
Yes
Almost the entire menu is gluten free. Nothing that isn't GF goes in the fryer.. They even have GF chicken tenders!
Yes
The waitress was not very knowledgeable on gluten free, but the chef did come out to clarify if we were gluten free or had Celiac. We are here based on all the good reviews, the burger was OK, not great.

The fryer is only used for GF items and thenchicken tenders are great! Several GF options and the gf toast was good. Staff asked if our daughter was celiac and stated they note to change gloves.

Staff is very knowledgeable. when i order a GF roll on my beef burger they asked if i was celiac. no cross contamination. cooked in separate area. will be going back.

The waiter was very knowledgeable & asked if my daughter has celiac. She had the chicken fingers and omelet with potatoes and toast. The toast even came wrapped in paper. All was delicious!
Yes
The regular menu had a handful of items marked “GF”, and decent ones at that - chicken tenders the most notable. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a restaurant offer GF chicken tenders! GF buns and bread were also available for the burgers and sandwiches on the menu. And I know it’s a little thing, but it was nice to be able to look at the regular menu, instead of having to ask for and to look at a separate GF menu. My kids and I are gluten sensitive, and not celiac, so we can be more loose about these things, so I did not ask detailed questions - e.g. is there a dedicated fryer, dedicated counter space etc. - so definitely call ahead to confirm that what previous reviewers have said about this is still true. And from a foodie perspective, their burgers were great! I got the GF chopped salad, and my kids each had a GF burger - of which I of course took a bite. ;)
Yes
fantastic service and meal!! our server Michael fresh squeezed the Orange for my crush. He was very knowledgeable of GF and answered all my questions. The frier is dedicated GF. The servings were huge and delicious!! I am really glad I found this restaurant!! I had the GF fish tacos with the grilled salmon and sweet potato fries. My husband had the chicken fingers with home made potato chips. We will be back!!!

Staff seemed knowledgeable and I trusted the other reviews but the French fries were NOT gluten free! My daughter got sick from eating them! Just a reminder you really can't trust anyone!

only a few options but still very good. the staff was knowledge as well.
Food was good portions a little small. Good selection for GF. The kids and I didn't have a reaction which is always important. I would recommend this restaurant for a gluten free experience.
