Review of The Penny Ice Creamery

If you are a foodie, get excited- the Penny Ice Creamery was made for lovely palates who appreciate the subtle luxury of Earl Grey ice cream and bitter salted caramel. All the flavors are handmade onsite with locally sourced, seasonal fare. They offer GF waffle cones- not celiac friendly as they do not have a dedicated waffle iron- but perfect for the kidlings who can take a bit of cross contamination. Taking cues from a local, the kids opted for the toasted marshmallow fluff topping. It was as if the clouds parted and the God of S'mores bestowed the perfect roasted 'mallow.... mmmm heavenly goodness! Another "must stop" while in Santa Cruz!!
