Had the mushroom tacos, they have corn tortillas and they were delicious. We also had the roads broccoli starter...and their house red is lovely.
Shared fryers mean everything has a risk, the servers are knowledgeable but you'll need to keep them informed of your needs. Things marked GF may have been cross-contaminated. BUT the servers will request griddles sweeps ans gloves changes if you need it.
Proceed with extreme caution. Not all of the menu items that are marked GF are actually GF. For example, I was really excited to get the Meat Candy, their only appetizer that was labeled GF, so I asked them to check the ingredients in the glaze for soy sauce or worchestershire and make sure they are labeled GF. The waitress got back to me and said that the item was not actually GF and she notified the chef about the mistake. There were many items marked GF that had fried ingredients that had cross contact from a shared frier, and their gluten-free buns are toasted on the same grill surface as regular buns. What a huge disappointment. I was left with one, maybe two menu options to choose from. I got the avocado bowl, which had absolutely no seasoning on it at all, but after I added s&p and hot sauce it was pretty good. They had no GF beer options, only a hard seltzer and a hard flavored tea. I opted for the cherry vanilla hard tea, it was delicious. This place has great potential, but if they really want to serve the GF community they need to step up their game.
Lots of gf options on their menu, including dessert. Knowledgeable staff. Fries are cross contaminated though.
They DO NOT have a dedicated fryer. They never have. But they are very knowledgeable and safe. Just DON’T look at the menu thinking you can have the fried stuff because you will be very disappointed 😔
We got the candies bacon and it also wasn’t what I was expecting. I’m willing to give it another try when my hopes aren’t built up.
