The Pine Room

I would give it 0 stars if I could. This was the first restaurant I went to after my diagnosis 3 years ago. I told her I had celiac and needed to be gluten free and her response was “it’s just a fad”. Tonight I called them as we had a reservation with a group and I wanted to be sure I could be safe. They assured me they had a lot of gluten free options but when I pushed a bit more she got very hesitant. I asked to talk to a manger and she was very flippant and said they had lots of gluten free, but use a shared fryer. I explained that would never work for me and her comment was “well I have heard both sides of the story”. Many people have celiac and eat here with our shared fryer, eating dried foods and they never get sick”. I explained to her that there are NOT 2 sides to the story and she ended up telling me they had nothing I could eat then. We cancelled the reservation and I will never go back. If you are celiac stay very far away!!!
