A beautiful golf course view and safe place to enjoy lunch! I had the burger with caramelized onions & mushrooms on their homemade GF roll (the best I’ve ever had) with delicious & most importantly, safe fries. I will definitely be back!

Gluten free buns and a designated fryer for French fries. Had a delicious burger, with a nice view of the golf course. Highly recommend!

I never write reviews, but I have to compliment our lovely waitress. She had a written-out list of which items could be made gluten free that she handed to me when I asked about gluten free options. They have gluten free buns for sandwiches and a dedicated fryer. I ordered the BBQ chicken sliders with a gluten free bun so they made me one big sandwich with a gluten free bun instead of a few mini sandwiches, which was perfectly fine with me, it was really good! Kiawah has been super accommodating for me in the years I’ve been coming here and the Player’s Pub was no different!

Here’s a typed-out version of the list:

- potato soup ⁃ mussels (white wine broth) ⁃ hummus (no pita) ⁃ chicken dip ⁃ any salad ⁃ chicken sliders (sub gf bun) ⁃ most sandwiches (sub gf bun) ⁃ duck ⁃ ribeye ⁃ chicken tikka masala ⁃ chicken wings ⁃ miso salmon ⁃ mahi mahi ⁃ shrimp n grits

There is a possibility other items could be made gluten free as well - just ask, the people there are lovely and knowledgeable!

I had looked up the menu before going to dinner, and saw zero mention to gluten free items, so was quite concerned about being able to eat. But one of the first questions the server asked was if there were any allergens. I let her know that I’m celiac, and she told me that most of their food is made in individual pans, so she could make sure mine was safe, and they had a dedicated fryer. I was delighted!

My family ordered the pimento cheese fries, and I asked her if they were gluten free, and she said she was going to have them made in the dedicated fryer for me so they were safe. They were delicious! So was my entree, which was the flounder. Overall, very pleased!
