Stopped in on my cruise today, I got a salad and fries and it was awesome! Didn’t get glutened, they were very knowledgeable and felt super comfortable. Fries were crispy and BOMB. Highly recommend

Ordered a breakfast burrito over French fries and they were super knowledgeable, cooked everything in a specific pan to avoid cross contamination, and the food was AMAZING!!

Had a great breakfast! Got the Potatohead burritos (but over fries instead). Rosemary garlic fries were awesome, as well as the regular fries! All very safe! We did get the yogurt and fruit cup, but didn’t realize it was yogurt with granola, honey, and some berries at the bottom to mix into the yogurt (we thought it was more of a fruit cup). It was delicious, but not sure of GF. Great experience and glad to have safe GF options in Valdez (and one is McCarthy as well!)

As a celiac, it’s difficult to find a place in remote Alaska where they have a dedicated fryer. The Potato has incredible rosemary garlic fries. If you want anything else off of the menu they have a dedicated spot that they prepare GF items. But the fries are chefs kiss!

Very accommodating of gf and celiac. Most items can be made gf by putting over fries. Ask for separate grilling or tell them you are celiac. BBQ sauce is not gf though so if you get pulled pork, no BBQ sauce. A few cider and hard seltzer options.

Good food and safe for Celiacs. As others have said, substitute fries from their dedicated fryer and you can have pretty much anything from the menu. The garlic rosemary fries are my favorite. Unfortunately the chowder is thickened with flour so that’s out.

Can do ANY menu item over fries or mixed greens instead of in its wrap or bun, fries are 100% gluten free. Dressings and sauces from menu are also 100% gluten free! I love the versatility on the menu and how many options I am able to have here because of their accommodations, rather than just a salad.

Beautiful. Ate here 3 times and ate like a king every meal. Fries are in a dedicated fryer and most dishes can be served over fries instead of as a sandwich.

Yum!!! I loved this place!!! Manager told us we could eat just about everything except for bread! They’ll put any sandwich over a bed of fresh cut fries. They’ll customize anything you want, happily. Food was excellent, service terrific. Seriously fattening, though.

So great to find a place in the middle of no where that accommodates celiacs. Dave, our waiter was helpful and knowledgeable. I loved the selection of ciders that were of course, gluten free. Tortilla chips and fries are fried in a designated fryer (use peanut oil).

Food tastes delish, but I could soon tell I had been contaminated with gluten. Not 100% GF!

Absolutely charming roadside stand with delicious food. Dedicated fryer for French fries and you can change any of their sandwiches to have the ingredients over a bed of fries. Maybe not health food, but definitely the only restaurant in Valdez that has "We are happy to accommodate your dietary needs" on the menu!
