The best gluten free fish and chips I’ve ever had. Light and crispy delicious! And a side of onion rings just mwah.

This place is on my doorstep so I was pleasantly surprised to find this listed on this app.

Looking at the food menu I was delighted to see lots of gluten free options. I opted for Wild Mushrooms as a starter which arrived with a creamy garlic sauce and what I can assume to be a small portion of gluten free bread. It was very tasty and heartily recommend if you love mushrooms.

For main course I ordered rib eye steak and chips with a side order of GF onion rings. The steak was a little over cooked but still absolutely delicious and very tender. The chips were amazing (I used no sauces, just a pinch of salt).

So what was disappointing is that they have taken a lot of time and care to ensure there are lots of gluten free food options on the menu. However, they don’t offer a gf beer, and the only gf dessert is ice cream or sorbet.

I must include that we did order an Irish coffee as a dessert substitute. It arrived with a small chunk of what I can assume is chocolate brownie. I asked if this was gluten free and it wasn’t. The gentleman serving insisted on taking away the spoons and saucers that were contaminated and replaced them with clean replacements, so take care if ordering coffee!

All in all a very positive gf experience. A little more choice needed for drinks and desserts but so much better than most places I have been so far!

Quite pricey but I will definitely return and will recommend!

Really enjoyable experience. Gluten free bread and olives, followed by gluten free fish and chips and onion rings (my gluten eating husband also went for the gluten free main and really enjoyed it!)
