My gluten free tea was served separately from the others at my table who had the regular tea. The sandwiches, scones and desserts were delicious!! I had afternoon tea at The Langham while in London and this food was so much better!! Highly recommend!!

My husband and I came to The Pump Room for an afternoon tea and it was a wonderful experience.
First off, the dining room is gorgeous. We had musicians playing during our tea so it really added to the ambiance. The waitstaff was super kind and attentive!
I have celiac so I let them know upon booking that I am gluten free. My husband is a gluten eater. When we sat down, they immediately told me that they had a gluten free dining experience ready for me and explained that mine would come out on a different tray than my husband’s.
Mine came out completely separately than my husband’s. I had sandwiches, scones, and sweet treats. Some of them different than my husband’s, but a lot of them were very similar so we were able to have similar experiences! The tea was delicious.
They took great care of me and I’m a highly sensitive celiac and had no reaction. I would absolutely recommend this place for a great afternoon tea experience!

It was exactly what we were hoping for. And even better, they didn’t charge me full price for my 9yo to enjoy the afternoon tea as well. Everything tasted absolutely delicious and we have no effects after eating there. It’s £39 for an adult for afternoon tea.

The tea was lovely! They were able to provide lots of options and I felt like there were as many tea bites available for the GF option as there was for the regular. They also had a gluten free cider. The scones were great! 10/10

If you are looking to experience a GF afternoon tea, then the Bath Pump Room is the place. They have a complete GF tray that is prepared separate from the gluten-full trays, and they are chock full of everything you could want: small sandwiches, scones, and desserts.
