Gorgeous high end restaurant with an attached arcade and speakeasy (down the hall). Only serves dinner (opens at 5pm most days). The food was all good and well made; just not my favorite only because of the rich heavy flavors; I like more balance when it comes to gourmet food. The servings seem small at first look but they’re surprisingly filling. We had the Eggplant dip with GF bread (this dish was my favorite and probably the only one I’d consider ordering again! Very good depth of flavors, and the GF olive bread was outstanding), the Heirloom Peach salad (very good but heavy with peach purée and soft cheese and the GF biscuits were too hard to help balance it), the Halibut (made with a Lobster rue/gravy, it was good, but also rich and heavy), Civiche (good; a little spicy and while a little lighter, surprisingly filling and bigger than it looks). All in all it was good food and a very nice restaurant, I personally prefer lighter, more complex flavor profiles in gourmet food at this price range but I couldn’t complain, everything was good, just preference. They told us the Braised Peach was GF for dessert and while it sounded good (Carmel glazed) we opted out because we were far too full from the heavy meal.
Amazing experience! So many GF options for my daughter who is celiac! The food is incredible I would highly suggest this place!
Ate in the downstairs bar off their bar menu. My son had grilled shishito peppers with a tamari sauce and quinoa crunch - so yummy. Also ate quesadillas and beetroot hummous with gf toasts. Staff knowledgeable about gf and careful to advise us on what was suitable to eat.
