The Royal Oak in Barrington is hands down my favourite place for a delicious gluten free Sunday lunch in Cambridgeshire. The Royal Oak is part of the Cambridge-owned Cams Cuisine, which now runs eight pubs and restaurants in and around Cambridge. Their pubs have clearly marked menus and the staff enquire about allergens when you sit down at the table. I have found that all of their pubs have knowledgeable staff and have lots of options for those with celiac disease. Everything apart from the yorkshire pudding in the Sunday lunch is gluten free including their heavenly sticky toffee pudding! I highly recommend this cosy village pub (as well as their sister pubs)!
