Great experience. Went for my birthday. Items clearly marked GF on the menu and the server was super knowledgeable and wrote on my order GF as well as shellfish allergy. Almost all the side dishes are GF including amazing Reggiano fries and sweet potato tots. Food was great. Only thing would have been better was a GF choice for dessert. Highly recommend but you do need reservations. Not open for lunch.

First off I got sick so the parm fries they said was GF clearly was not also they had few GF meals and zero GF dessert options; even their homemade ice cream has a thickening agent made with you guessed it...Gluten!I ordered pan seared grouper with cauliflower mash and asparagus and it was tasteless. I had my cousin taste it without offering my opinion and she too said it was bland. She was actually really mad for me as she suggested this restaurant and raved about the food. After adding copious amounts of salt and pepper seasonings you would think a beautiful restaurant named Sacred Pepper would have already done, I was left unimpressed. If they spent as much money in their food as their decor then I wouldn’t have been disappointed and I certainly would not have been sick. Also everyone at the table had massive portions and I was given the smallest piece of fish I’ve ever been served and I’m from NY and have traveled all over the world including Europe. They literally just seared a piece of fish and blended some cauliflower threw it on a dish and served. I pay high for good food without a care but this place is charging NYC prices for mediocre food in Tampa! And I got sick on top of that. Who puts gluten in homemade ice cream? I’ve never heard that before. The GF options were VERY limited and the waitress did warn me about the ice cream but had to consult the chef about my other questions.
