I don't know why this place is on this app. The hostess didn't know what gluten was. We waited half an hour til she checked with the kitchen. They figured I might be able to eat meat? We left, waste of precious time.

Nice local bar with excellent food. GF times are not marked on the menu, but the owner sat down with us and went through the menu and explained what was safe, and how things were prepared. Will absolutely go back!

Food was ok. Not great but edible. They didn't have a gluten free menu & the waitress didn't know if they had any gluten free foods. She had to ask someone else & came back saying it's all gluten free if it's not fried. I ended up getting a burger without a bun and asked her to make sure the kitchen knows it has to be gluten free, hoping they would understand more than she did. Wouldn't recommend if you're celiac.

We found The Salty Angler via the "Find Me GF" app and asked a trusted bartender about the place. She raved, so we travelled straight there for dinner. It was great! Our server was a bit unsure about some of the GF options, so the very knowledgeable owner came out to explain exactly which menu items were and were not gluten-free. The thunder thighs and cornbread were awesome.

Pulled Pork, Brisket, and Chicken are all gluten free. Servers were very knowledgeable. The gluten-free cornbread was outstanding. Coleslaw was also gluten-free and very good.
