I'm an extremely sensitive celiac and get sick with the tiniest amount of gluten. The Shed takes celiac very seriously. They have the gluten free items clearly marked, and when you tell them you can't have gluten they take all extra precautions to ensure safety. I've eaten here numerous times with zero problems. The food is great, as well as the atmosphere. You can dine while overlooking the beautiful bayou, if you choose. The potato salad alons is worth the trip -- it's fantastic. You can't go wrong with The Shed if you're celiac or gluten intolerant.

They don't know what ingredients are in the food and there are no nutrition guides. Not safe.

Felt very “south bbq”. The shed is really a shed (or rather several sheds). Lots of outdoor space, a little bit of indoor space. Food was good. Kids meals are gigantic. Husband and I split a two meat combo with two sides. He for the fried Okra and they made a note that it should be on a separate plate but it came out all together. I took it back and they were very nice and happy to replace my part of the meal. Not sure that the kitchen people fully understand gluten as my meal was marked on it gluten allergy but then had fried okra in it. Luckily I didn’t get sick. Potato salad was the side I got, was good.

Great meat & sauce! Ordered without bread, but came with bread. Thankfully the bread was on top of the foil covering meat & sides. Celiac & didn’t get sick. Neat atmosphere as well

They have items marked GF. I got ribs with coleslaw and potato salad. Make sure to tell them you don't want bread because they automatically include it with the meal. Ribs were super tender and juicy.

Food is great, staff was knowledgeable and ensured that a note was placed on my order for my gluten intolerance.
Food was okay. I’ve had better bbq. Had to get new sides bc they put them on the same tray as gluten foods and cross contaminated my food. Otherwise food was tasty and I did not get sick.
Great place! It so nice to find good food and nice environment after being on the road all day. May stop back by on the way back.
Great BBQ again as usual. We had Ribs, beans, chicken wings, and potato salad. Not having anyone sick from cross contamination or gluten was so nice. I would highly recommend this establishment.
What a pleasure to have bbq and no worries! Had the brisket with coleslaw and potato salad. Will be going back very soon!
Knowledgable staff; they change their gloves; All rubs and sauces are gluten free; they offer GF side dishes (except the sweet potato casserole is NOT GF); chicken, bacon, turkey, beef and pork-all GF; not the sausage-it's not house made and ingredient label says 'spices' so you can't be sure. Great place and famously yummy!
