Really nice little place in the centre. My friend and I arrived late and it was nice that it was open in the evening. They have lots of different options including lots of vegan ones. We had the goats cheese and honey waffle and a banana and chocolate waffle. We both really enjoyed them (my friend isn’t coeliac) and I would definitely recommend to other coeliacs!
A great variety of GF options such as waffles, beers, sandwiches & more! They have GF options combined with sugar free, vegan, animal free & other characteristics. The service is really good. They have a nice terrace. It is also plastic feee.
Had a very good artichoke and hazelnut salad, and my friend had the ginger falafel which was delicious. The waffle, I am disappointed to say, was just okay. It’s a banana waffle, which I don’t even make any more because I find them fairly unsatisfying. The vegan ice cream on top, however, was quite tasty. Very good healthy food, but get your waffle at Veganwaf.
The have about half dozen GF beers which is a big treat. One on tap. Menu is clearly marked what is GF. I had a lunch waffle and a dessert waffle. Both were good. Not great but good. Did seem made to order but reheated. All the same it was a treat to be able to get them. Prices a bit steep. My spouse had a non-GF panini and said the focaccia was fantastic. I would go back again.
The staff were very knowledgeable about gluten free. They offer 7 beers and if you’re like me and not used to so many options they will help you choose. The food is amazing and the staff friendly. Highly recommend and will be coming here every time I am in Brussels.
Came here twice! Was very excited to get gluten free waffles. Had the chocolate and banana on our first visit, then came back late-night for the goat cheese and honey waffle. I definitely liked the latter of the two more, but I -love- cheese. Husband ordered the sandwiches instead... he’s not gf but he did enjoy! Great beer selection if your sensitivity allows for the gluten-reduced beers too (mine does not).
I came here because they have a ton of gluten free beer and food. The food is vegan and vegetarian friendly along with the gluten-free. They also have juices, teas, and smoothies. It surpassed my expectations. The service was great. The server was good with French and English. He was very knowledgeable about the gluten-free situation and answered my questions. I had beet falafel, and my husband at a ciabatta sandwich (the Lola) . My falafel came on a bed of lettuce and were so delicious. The food was fresh and pure. Real food is special these days. We also got lentil soup. Hot damn that was good soup. There were a surprising number of gluten-free beers to choose from. I drank a Brunehaut trippel and Leireken Pils. The Brunehaut was Great. The Leireken as very good. I'd call that a win. The ambience is relaxed ND casual. There seem to be a lot of regulars along side of bewildered tourists. I was a little bewildered after having gone to a gluten free Italian place 45 minutes away. The woman shuffled us out and turned the closed sign. I'm so glad she did. Sister's is awesome. (that happens to us often, actually)
GF options, but having been 3 times they still test a GF request as of it is unusual. Ordered 1 of their 4 GF bottles beers and rather than tell me it was out of stock, they just opened a random bottle and brought it to me. Surly, bored and slow staff. GF waffles are like cardboard. Your won't starve, but you might not enjoy yourself.
They know their menu and what is safe and not safe. They even made it clear that the sandwiches my husband ordered could not be made gluten free as the meal all contained it and not to share utensils and eat off each other’s plates. The menu has many sandwiches options, although all vegetarian or vegan as the only sandwiches containing meat have the meatball. They have a large drink selection too.
my waffle was cold and stale. staff claimed to be knowledgeable but i ended up getting sick. i don’t know if it was a fluke or not but my experience was horrible. also the gluten free bread is bad and my brothers (not gluten-free) didn’t like their food either
The menu had extensive gluten free options and the staff was very accommodating. Just be sure to specify that it's an actual gluten intolerance. The food was delicious and very fresh tasting. They even had all gluten free waffles. The location is very convenient and visually appealing.

On the drinks menu the organic and gluten free beers are cleary marked.Friendly staff, calm and nice surroundings and centrally based.
