Review of The Skinny Pancake

We've been eating at Skinny Pancake several times/year for at least 10 years, and this review is long overdue! With the exception of one time (about 8 years ago when a dessert crepe was accidently made with gluten batter, but we noticed before it was ingested) my daughter with celiac disease has never had a problem. Many years ago it appeared that they ramped up their protocol. When we request the tasty GF batter due to celiac disease the person who takes the order reviews it with us (and even asks if we order the GF batter and forget to mention "due to allergy"), it gets noted on the order ticket, and that person also verbally confirms with the line cooks. The cooking surface gets cleaned and they use separate utensils. The GF crepes also come out with a little bamboo "no gluten" marker.

We're so happy they have several locations so we know we've an option for reliably safe and delicious food when traveling!
