Review of The Slide Inn

This is a dedicated kitchen because the owner’s wife has celiac!

I ordered gluten free apple fritters from here and they were delicious!!! First time in eight years that I’ve had fried dough! They weren’t cakey (like most gluten free pastries) they were fried in hot oil and didn’t fall apart, which is a feat in of itself, but they genuinely tasted delicious. They also have a bunch of traditional German food that is nearly impossible to get in the States and I loved every bite! The sausages and pancakes (also can be made gf!) were totally classic German and I really appreciate GF options that aren’t just a pizza or burger bun 😒. 100% highly recommend!
