Review of The Slide Inn

I was really excited to order from a place that seemed so knowledgeable about food intolerances/allergies. I did not have a gluten reaction, HOWEVER, when I triple checked that everything I had ordered was, indeed, gluten and dairy free, the owner assured me it was. Then as I was walking away with my food, he mentioned that the potatoes have dairy. Now, I had made it VERY clear in both text and ordering app that I need both gluten and dairy free. I would have gotten very sick if I had just trusted his word and not asked again once more. His solution was to scrape out the mashed potatoes and give me a sauerkraut that was safe. I probably won't eat here again even though I didn't get sick. It just feels too risky

Just saw your response as I actually never signed up to be able to respond to reviews. Sorry, this happened, I can only say that we are extremely vigilant and careful and take dietary restrictions very serious. I do applogize that we (almost) messed up on your order.
