I ordered two gluten-free tacos and gluten-free smoked corn elote. When I received my order, everything was marked GF, except for an extra corn elote they gave me (probably trying to be nice), which was marked as having gluten because it had the fried onions on it. While it's a nice thought to give a customer an extra as a freebie, it's also completely illogical to give a customer with an allergy any good with that allergen in it. It went straight into the garbage. I ate one of the tacos before noticing that the other one (in the same box) also had fried onions, so now I'm in for several days of sickness. I called the restaurant to let them know, and I didn't get so much as an apology or an offer to make it right by providing a refund or anything of that nature. This location isn't safe for anyone with medical dietary needs.
A large majority of the menu is gluten free, and it tastes amazing! Highly recommend the churro fries - however, if you don’t request them gluten free, they do use a gluten containing whipped cream (they have a gf whipped cream for gluten free orders).
We’ve been here multiple times, and twice they’ve accidentally given us churro fries with the gluten containing whipped cream, so we now always double check with a worker.
My favorite restaurant for GF food! The tacos are so dang good! Even my non gluten free family loves them. I haven’t gotten sick from eating here. Everything I’ve tried I’ve loved but the smoking pastor is hands down the best taco! They do have a few items that have gluten but they are great about marking it on their menu and also accommodating to any allergies!
