The Soda Fountain Cafe

This is about the only gluten-friendly restaurant in Cleveland. The gluten-free burger and slaw never gives me any issues. The fries and tots are NOT gluten-free. Shared fryer unfortunately.

The burger is pretty good, but make sure you tell them you have an allergy. The cooks will nearly blacken the hamburger patties if you don't ask for it to be cooked medium.

Service is great, clean facilities, and relatively good prices. I have celiac and eat here often.

I had the Smoky Mountain Chicken Sandwich on a gluten-free bun with potato salad as my side - both were amazing! Prior to ordering, I informed our server that I had to eat gluten-free and they made sure that the kitchen staff knew to take what precautions they could. Great staff, clean restaurant, and good food!
