Stopped by on a road trip and my husband and I loved the breakfast sandwiches!!! So good!! Felt completely safe as it’s dedicated GF, and as far as I could tell almost all their products were dairy free as well!

All gluten free!! Has fresh baked goods, packaged snacks, local olive oil/balsamic and everything in the store is gluten free. I got the lemon cream cheese bar ($6)— sooo yummy! Also got a variety of macaroons that we are excited to try!

If it matters to you, this place has been anti-mask during even the worst periods of the pandemic and for that reason I will not go. I was sad to see them make a big fuss about it on their Facebook page - but, I am free not to patronize them.

My family and I stopped here while traveling and we were very impressed! Their baked goods were out of this world and their staff was so welcoming and helpful. The whole store is 100% GF and they don’t even let their staff eat gluten in the store. Their breakfast sandwiches were to die for. If we could give this place ten stars we would! Thank you for providing such an amazing experience for celiacs!

I got an Apple Cider donut and Lemon Poppyseed muffin for breakfast and then also bought the Take and Bake Cinnamon Rolls. The donut was AMAZING! I will definitely be going back for those in the future. It was the best GF donut I’ve ever had! The muffin was pretty good too. I made the cinnamon rolls (btw it’s $40 for 8 cinnamon rolls?!?) and they weren’t that good. I was pretty disappointed considering the price. Overall, I’ll definitely be back for the donuts and probably try some other baked goods.

The Southern Olive has all gluten-free bakery, and it is delicious and moist. We tried a lemon blueberry cupcake and a lemon poppy muffin. I wish I lived here so I could try many other treats. I highly recommend. The service was friendly and helpful. It has counter service with tables outside. They also sell olive oil. There was no worries about cross contamination.

Southern Olive has amazing baked goods made fresh. They are a dedicated facility. SO also has retail items to purchase in addition to their olive oil and vinegars. Highly recommend stopping next time you’re in Baxter!

Outstanding place for bakery items! Must visit for every time I am in the area! Quiche options available in DF. Cupcakes are moist with fluffy frosting. Olive oils in numerous flavors. Bars, cookies and muffins are also options. Park in the lot behind and walk around to the store. The area is great for a walk. Thanks Amy, you did a great job offering me TSA friendly suggestions to take on my airplane ride home to MI!

This is a 100% GF facility! They offer baked goods, olive oil, wines and lots of other GF items for purchase. I love to stop by for a treat whenever I’m close by.

This place is fantastic! Not only is it 100% gluten free but the bakery is phenomenal! When I visited the first time they had blueberry crumble muffins that were delicious. I also ordered the Samoa doughnuts & they were incredible. I didn't expect the tasting room of all the infused oils and balsamic vinegar to be as substantial as it was so that was a pleasant surprise. Amy helped us out & was super knowledgeable about all the different flavors. She made some amazing recommendations & even gave us a few recipes to try! I'm planning on being a weekly regular & picking up my next order this weekend. Also, the prepackaged soups have all been astonishing. I can't rave about this place enough! Definitely give it a try. You won't regret it!

I have celiac with an extreme wheat and casein allergy on top of that. I went for my anniversary. My husband laughed so hard when I took my first bite of their oatmeal cream pie. It was literally the best treat I've had in 20 years. I made it last 2 days; it was that good. The owner has celiac and the entire store is 100% gluten free with no chance of cross contamination! Great service and great food. Highly recommend them.

This place is amazing!!! I had to fight off my non gf kid for the goodies because she kept trying to steal them from me. The cookie sandwich was my favorite! I wish I lived closer because I would eat there everyday.

OMG! This is such a gem for your GF sweet tooth! I’ve eaten a lot of gluten free baked goods in my 12 years being gluten free. I’ve lived most of my life in southern CA where GF goods are abundant. These are by far the most delicious tasting by far! I’ve had babycakes, I’ve had starry lane bakery, the gluten free baking co, gluten freedom baking, azúcar, and of course I’ve tried the gf nothing bundt cake. Well this is hands down the best tasting GF baked goods I’ve had! No one can tell they are GF. Everything is moist, delicious and fresh! The most amazing treat though are the cinnamon rolls! They are absolutely to die for! I’ve tried them many places but this is a top notch cinnamon roll and I’m so happy to be able to provide a Christmas morning tradition for my GF family! They have other GF pantry staples and amazing olive oils and balsamic vinegars as well and even organic wines. This place really is special. So lucky to live nearby!

Amazing. ALL of their baked goods are gluten-free. Their entire kitchen is gluten free to it is safe without cross contamination. Importantly, the baked goods are SO GOOD. They don’t even taste gluten-free - my wife is not gluten-free and she also loves it. The owner is very kind as well.

Wow, so excited this place moved to Baxter Village! 100% gluten free with delicious baked goods (keto available too). It also sells amazing olive oil and vinegar that will upgrade any simple cooking that I do. The store is really cute and a great browse with knowledgeable and friendly staff. They just moved but will be doing events like cooking demos and wine tasting soon. Schedule will be available via social media. Also sell the hard to find GF products like actually good pasta and bread, safe baking sprinkles, olives and lots of other yummy gourmet groceries.

Update: I went in May 2022 and was told they are no longer doing cakes. I ordered cupcakes, but they were made differently and I had a reaction to the type of flour they used. Disappointing.
I ordered a GF, Vegan cake with icing. They used all natural ingredients for any food coloring on the outside. The frosting is amazing & the cake texture is dense, but good. With the dietary restrictions, it is awesome & I’m having no reactions to it. They said they could make any type/flavor cake with these restrictions, so I had to call prepared with what I wanted. There was no menu. It was wonderful to have a birthday cake for the first time in many years. Their customer service is awesome!

My favorite bakery ever! It’s a dedicated gluten free bakery but they also offer so much for other dietary needs such as dairy free, keto, vegan, etc. We have ordered everything from birthday cakes to cinnamon rolls and it’s always delicious! They also have a great little specialty food section including their wonderful infused olive oils, sauces, coffee, treats, and more. Highly recommend!

Sure, this store has gluten free options but I will never be coming back. While this review is late since I gave the store another chance, the owner is nuts and unwelcoming. With celiac children who are immune compromised, the store did not uphold CDC guidelines within their store during the pandemic by having customers wear masks. The owner is an anti-vaxxer & anti-mask and tried telling me what to do with my own children when I simply asked if masks were required for an event being held during the pandemic (so I could protect my immune compromised children). The cupcake frosting is disgusting and overpowering. The cake itself is dry and has no flavor. Will not be returning, do not recommend.
A MUST go to!! Best GF bakery. Every time I’m in the area visiting from out of state I have to stop at least once sometimes twice to get their baked goods. They make the best macarons you will ever find!!!!!

I LOVE this place! The GF bakery is delicious, and they are able to accommodate so many other allergies! The staff is so kind and willing to help. Their selection and sampling of their other products is another great part about them!
