Spoke with the server and all of the curries are prepared gluten free. The food was amazing and made for great leftovers too.

I was given gluten noodles and assured they were gluten free. It was an honest mistake and they did let me know once they realized and apologized profusely

They have a two page gf menu and ive often ordered pickup online. You do have to note on each item to make it gf though - so they know to leave off krispies and other items with gluten.

They have a nice gluten free menu but not all items are safe. The rice noodles and meat are cooked in the same water as the wheat noodles according to their chef. They use all the same woks but wash them after each use. I got the Thai fried rice with no meat and tested it with my Nima sensor. It came back safe with no gluten!
I always get the yellow curry with tofu or extra veggies. Gluten free and vegan!

The Spice has a gluten free menu that includes soups, drunken noodles, curries, fried rice, and various seafood and sauteed meat items. No pad thai or pad see ew, though. Prices are reasonable, food was good, and I did not get sick after eating here. If you have Celiac and you're craving some Thai food, I definitely recommend The Spice in Downtown Ames.

Tons of options and some of the best drunken noodles I've had in a long time!
Huge gluten-free menu with soups, rice noodles, and curry. I have Celiac Disease and had no issues eating at The Spice. Food is excellent. Meal will cost you about $15 for dinner.
Have GF menu - just request from hostess. Curry was delicious!
Called before going. Talked with gentleman who told me they use GF ingredients, but don't use new pans/utensils because gluten free doesn't require as much caution as a peanut allergy and people don't need to worry about gluten as much as they do. Obviously, did not eat here.
This is one of our favorite restaurants in town! Amazing food and fantastic service.
