I had food catered at a birthday party and it was fabulous! The owner took the time to explain what I could and could not have. He is very aware of cross contamination and I felt safe eating his food.

This place was family owned and wonderful. A small group of us ate here recently and all were satisfied (they were not gluten free but raved about their meals and even liked the my GF dish)! I made sure to mention I am a celiac and must eat gluten free. The owner came out to the table to discuss my options, preparation safety, little back story on the initial interest in GF and any gluten free products they offered. They explained they do not have an official gluten free menu but do have a few gluten free items as they are learning and trying to accommodate gluten free customers! Very nice place! I specifically got the Alfredo which was delicious. I suspect they will have more gluten free options as they learn to navigate the gluten free world!!

I have eaten twice at The Steel Plate so far and both times have been amazing. The owner came out and ensured me that he prepared my food himself to ensure it was GF. The Alfredo is amazing! BBQ sauce is also gluten free. Corn tortillas are available to sub buns
