Symptomatic Celiac

Returned to The Stirling for dinner on the way home from Tauranga. Although the server (bar owner) relayed my questions to the cook, I got the sense she was frustrated by them and didn't really care. Ordered steak, salad (no dressing) and chips (separate fryer) - with a big GF on the order. Salad came out with dressing - tasted like balsamic so relied on the fact that cook was looking out for me. Big mistake! don't really know what did it, but was very unwell on the way home to Auckland. Sad, to have to take back my previous 5 star rating 😔
