The Surfing Goat Coffee & Bagel Bar

I love the Surfing Goat when I’m on Tybee with my family. I’m so used to going places where everyone else can have bagels or breakfast sandwiches and my choice is plain eggs. At the Goat I can get a plain bagel or whatever I want on it and it’s always great. The service is friendly and always fantastic.

How would you rate the taste and quality of the gluten-free food you tried?

— Excellent

Had a gf bagel with turkey & bacon & cream cheese for lunch. Bagels are udi and wrapped separately and the staff did a great job changing their gloves and it was delicious. I am so bread deprived on my vacation so it was lovely to fund this place.

Found this little spot in Tybee on vacation. I have many allergies including gluten with suspected celiac and didn’t see it listed anywhere. They have Udi’s gluten free bagel and amazing coffee. They are packaged separately and they were knowledgeable about cross contamination if you let them know. They don’t have a dedicated area but I didn’t have any problems It was a great breakfast and friendly staff.

They have gluten free bagels - I had a plain bagel with egg, cheddar and avocado. The bagel was pretty gross, definitely not the best GF bagel I’ve had. It was also pretty small and came to $10. Good if you’re in a pinch for breakfast, but not the best.
