My experience was nothing like the other reviews. There is no gluten-free menu. No chef spoke to me about my dietary restrictions. The only dessert option was a sorbet. The server did check on an entree I was interested in, but other than that, there were no concessions or alternatives to the regular menu for either dinner or breakfast. Most of the staff were not even aware of what of what gluten is or which foods would be an issue. I would not recommend this restaurant as celiac friendly. That said, the dinner I had was beautifully presented and delicious. Breakfast was just adequate; nothing special. My one star rating is based on the lack of concern, training, or alternatives for those needing to be gluten-free.

Although they do not have a separate "gluten free" menu, our server for dinner made sure to check with the cook and provided me with gf options! What a wonderful meal in a beautiful setting! We sat on the porch and enjoyed the smell of Jasmine and the quiet surroundings and landscape! Breakfast was provided with our room, and preparation was made ahead of our visit for my gf requirements! As a Celiac, this was very refreshing to not only be taken care of, but also understood as far as my requirements go! I did take my own bread, which they toasted in the main oven to avoid cc. Can't say enough about them! We will be back!

The meal I had today was one of the best I've had all year. I am gluten intolerant and not only were most of the dinner selections made without gluten the chef came out before I ordered to go over my needs and make sure they were met. I highly recommend The Table as a go to place for anyone who enjoys gourmet food but especially for people with a gluten problem.

My husband and I stayed at the Inner Banks Inn for our recent anniversary. I picked our lodging mainly because of the restaurant that is on the property- they stated they could accommodate GF. And they did!! Both for breakfasts and for dinner each day. The chef is very knowledgable about GF and cross contamination. Breakfast included eggs to order, bacon, fruit (with extra fruit for me instead of muffins). Dinner was delicious- baked chicken, veggies, corn cakes, and an amazing Carolina house salad. My husband tried their seafood both nights and declared it was delicious as well! They have lots of options for meals (I am a big chicken fan, not a big fish or red meat eater- but they had those options!) as well as gelato and gluten free mousse cake for dessert :) highly recommend!(Also recommend the Inn if you need a place to stay in town!)
