The Tamale Girl

I first ate Tamale Girl’s food at Gluten Free Fest 2023 and several times since. Love the beans and rice and pulled beef. Enjoy the tamales too. I love knowing this is 100% safe for me as a person with Celiac disease.

Absolutely love this place! The owner and her daughter are so lovely and their tacos are so tasty. Can’t go to the market without ordering from them!

This are a favourite every time we go to St Jacobs. The owner is very friendly. We've only bought frozen tamales for heating at home. I suggest all varieties!

Eating at The Tamale Girl was such a sweet and joyful experience. Kathy is super friendly and passionate about sharing tamales and other Mexican foods with utmost care for gluten issues, as her step daughter is celiac. The only reason why I am not rating it 5 stars is because although they are enjoyable, tamales aren't my favorite food in general, and Farmer' Market eats can be a bit pricey due to the venue alone.
