I'm Celiac and gluten intolerant, when I get glutened I'm out of commission for at least 3 days.
This restaurant has gluten friendly options on their menu. However, if you are celiac or gluten intolerant, and/or cannot tolerate gluten at all, you must let them know before you place your order, because they don't understand that "gluten friendly" means that there is ZERO gluten. Their ribs, for example, are "gluten friendly" but when I told them that I was celiac, they said that there was a "little bit of flour" and a "little bit of soy sauce" in their BBQ sauce. I tried explaining that they can't say that the ribs are gluten friendly because they're not, but they didn't think that it was a problem because it was a small amount. They weren't trying to be deceitful, they just didn't understand.
I will eat there again, because the food is really tasty and the prices are very reasonable, but I'll the extra vigilant to make sure that whatever I order is truly 100% gluten free.
