While staying at the Resort at Longboat Key, we decided to eat at this restaurant since many of the menu items are labeled gluten free. However, I started feeling unwell after I got back to the hotel, and still felt sick the next day. I ordered a “GF” mushroom appetizer, steak, and a “GF” toffee pudding dessert, plus they brought GF yuca bread to the table. Some of this was not gluten free or must have had cross contamination. A shame, since the food was delicious, but it’s not a safe restaurant for me. And I did tell the server to inform the kitchen of my celiac.
