This restaurant is very gluten free friendly. There isn’t a separate gluten free menu but items are clearly marked as gluten free and many other dishes would be gluten free with adjustments.

My kids and I are gluten free, but have not been diagnosed with a celiac allergy, we just get sick and uncomfortable if we ingest gluten. This is my first time going to toasted owl after i committed to being vegan on top of GF because their menu mentions vegan. For the non vegan GF folks who can tolerate cross contamination, it's a decent breakfast joint, they got your meats, cheese and GF bread and tortilla for an extra $4. Their menu clearly states they will have cross contamination, much like a pizza joint. For the GF vegan, you'll get the salad or order a side of roasted veggies. They have vegan bacon and nexveg alternatives meat products, not sure what the GF status is on those, and I'm not sure what the vegan status is on GF bread or tortilla. It's usually a 15 min wait or longer to be seated, expect a 90min to 2hr dining experience.

Comfortable and low key. Food was good but not great. I ordered the almond cake which was their take on a GF pancake. It was dry and crumbly but had a nice almond flavor. My wife’s eggs were a little cold but otherwise okay.

I don’t have typical reactions so I hardly ever know if I’ve been exposed, but they seemed very aware of celiac needs and most menu choices could be made GF. The omelette choices were unique and delicious!
Yes
Full gluten free menu however no gluten free baked goods. We did not eat here, was trying to find GF baked goods to take on the road.
They now close at 3pm!!! Drove out for an early dinner but they were already closed.
We were referred to this place by a forest ranger. Wow, does she have great taste! If you are in Flagstaff, go to the Toasted Owl for breakfast! They are an all around hit; hospitality, food, drinks, & environment. I love the retro soda! I have the hot chocolate & would rate it a 10 out of 10- the best hot chocolate I've had (and I consider myself a connoisseur). I also had the fried egg sandwich on gluten free bread- what a delight! Thank you Dillon for the great service!!
