I felt fairly safe eating there. The waitress understood my needs and was familiar with what was gf. The menu has gf items integrated. I had a chicken sandwich which came on a fancy artisan bun (fancier than the regular buns) and a cup of green chili as my side. Tasty chili, I wouldn't do fries there as they have a shared fryer with lots of battered things. It was good, and I didn't get sick. It was pricey though, the chicken sandwich was $24 plus $3 for the gf bun and another $4 for the cup of chili which was considered a premium side.

Pleasantly surprised! It’s a restaurant themed from the original true grit movie which was a unique and cool experience. The waitress asked if it was Celiac or preference and seemed to know her stuff. The menu states at the bottom what you can and can’t have, they also have pretty good GF buns. I ordered the elk avocado burger with loaded mashed potatoes on the side. They were both great!! My gluten eating friends enjoyed their meals as well. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who likes a good burger and a fun atmosphere!

There do not appear to be any protocols at
all, and the server did not know about gluten free items.
Our burgers were frozen, unseasoned, flavorless patties of not-so-good tasting meat. The food in this place is underwhelming and most likely not 100% gluten free.
If you like the western vibe, you may enjoy the atmosphere and decor. But if you want good food, skip this place.

The waitress was very knowledgable about about their food and processes. Including that my husband’s food was not to be near mine.
The serving was huge! And delicious. One of the best tasting gluten free buns I’ve had.
Their staff was friendly and a joy to be around.

Waitress addressed the chef with all our questions. He personally oversaw the cooking and preparation of our GF meal. GF meal came out first. Our best experience so far eating out GF!

We stop here often on the drive between Telluride and Denver. Great GF options given how small and remote the town/area is. We like their burgers, really good bun.
Food was above average but the service was incredibly slow
Menu states all dressings are homemade and GF. All soups and chilis are thickened with cornstarch, not flour. Offers GF buns for all burgers and sandwiches. Menu warns that fries are cross contaminated.
