This felt like a really safe place to eat. The manager came and talked through the menu and explained how food was cooked safely. My son says ‘Soooooooo good for gluten free 🙂’
A wonderful traditional pub that has a very good understanding of allergens and intolerances. Whilst they do not have a dedicated GF prep area for Coeliacs, they will do their utmost to make your meal as safe as possible and tell you how they will do that! The landlady told us she has a very sensitive gluten intolerant child that visits and she is always safe in this pub. I had 3 courses for dinner tonight, I am never able to do this in most establishments! I had GF carrot & coriander soup, with GF Cajun chicken, chips and peas and an amazing GF caramel apple pie and custard. All of it was incredible, washed down with a couple of bottles of Budweiser which of course are GF friendly! One happy lady !!
