Service was great! This restaurant is the location of a former Red Robin (which all closed in AB :( ). The current owners loved the former chain, kept the kitchen design and recreated the menu. I suspect they hired former employees to prep the food and source the former suppliers. . Same "forever" fries, similar menu options, and same quality and safety of the former inhabitants.

Amazing server who was knowledgeable and even went back and double checked himself on items that he was unsure of. Delicious burgers and unlimited gluten free fries with our burgers. Allowed me to do a substitution on my burger when the sauce was not gluten free. Great helpful staff. GF items were marked on the menu but there were only 3 fries and two types of burgers but server assured us we could make any of the burgers gluten free with substitutions so that is what we did.

They brought out my meal seperately which is good.
I had the Varsity Burger with a gf bun. The fries are gf as long as you get the normal fat ones. No gf gravy.
It also took a long time to get service but we were in the lounge area so that seems like the norm for places like this.
My bun (Care brand I beleive) was so dry it was inedible. I took the top off and ended up putting a couple fries on top in its place. I am not a fan of the tasteless Care tapioca buns even when they are fresh. The burger was pretty good. The fries didn't seem that great and the wife ordered the Spicy Jack burger (not gf) and said it wasnt very good either.

Basically Red Robin 2.0! I was told that the owners used to manage the Red Robin so the base menu is almost identical. They have the same allergy protocol, manager brings out your food separatel from regular orders, gluten free buns, and a dedicated fryer. We’ve been to Red Robin dozens of times, and Varsity 4-5 times, all with no issues.

I had the bacon and cheddar burger. Yummy. Waitress was very knowledgeable. Dedicated fryer and separate prep area. Also brought my mean out separately so there was no chance of contamination from another meal. I’ve been twice now and both visits were great.

Fantastic experience tonight! The restaurant does not even bring gluten free food out with other food and insists that staff wash their hands between touching a plate that has a gluten meal on it and a plate that has to be gluten free. The food tasted great. The GF bun on the burger was really good. Above all, our server, Carmen was professional, kind and knowledgeable. They inspire confidence (and no one has become sick after eating there).

Staff were very helpful. Dedicated fryer for regular fries. Restaurant is similar to Red Robins that used to be in this location. I had a chicken burger. They also have a dedicated area for meal prep for people with allergies/celiac.
