Something you won’t find easily in Germany or Austria for example. GF food in a museum restaurant! Wasn’t ‚marked‘ on the menu, but when we asked they confirmed they could prepare gf meatballs & smashed potatoes. (So you have to say it, when you order) Got it fresh, tasted really yummie… not only our ‚Zöli‘- Teenie was happy. They also have gf bread and could make sandwiches (and offer salad bowls), but we didn’t try those. If you like meatballs - we can recommend. 😉

Went on a Sunday and they told us they wouldn’t be able to make anything GF because their kitchen was too busy… then immediately changed their minds after we started to leave. Was told the soup (w/o croutons) and meatballs (w/o mustard) could be GF… soup came out with croutons on it, when I brought it back I watched the girl bring it into the kitchen and suggest they just scoop the croutons off and give it back. Thankfully the head chef stopped her from that. Food was ok but, if you’re hungry on Djurgården I’d suggest just going to Vrak cafe for GF sandwiches to save yourself the hassle.

A museum restaurant with GF options! Menu marked and staff knowledgeable. The meatballs (served everyday) aren’t GF, but the daily special when I went (minced veal with mashed potatoes) was! There were also snacks/salads available.
