Review of The Vic Bar + Kitchen

The gf options on the menu are not safe for celiac- total cross contamination and staff is unsure how to talk about this. There are no buns or bread, they can do a flatbread with cauliflower crust that you have to ask them to cook separately for gf safety- you can have salads or the steak or chicken but have to modify strictly and be relentless about keeping separate. Also, the chips are not gluten free they are cross contaminated. Do not even read the menu because the gf labels are false. This needs to be changed asap but they don’t seem to have any desire to do so anytime soon. We will not be going back until they get serious about food allergies and autoimmune diseases that require better understanding- they have a wonderful staff that really want to make everyone happy- so upper management and ownership needs to step it up- this area doesn’t have a lot of restaurants to work with so we need it.
