The White Swan Country Hotel

We went to the white swan 3 times while in Greytown. Twice we ate in Captains Table - 1st time I had lamb, 2nd time I had fish. Both times food was excellent. Service was great, staff knowledgeable. This food is restaurant food. The third meal was in the pub side. Had the chicken burger and fries. This was very good. GF bun could have been toasted but other than that very tasty.

Frequent the White Swan often for dinner at the gastro pub area. They can make their hamburgers GF as well as the fries. Disappointed with the fish and chips however as the fish came out just grilled. I was looking forward to a GF batter!

Often frequent the Swan, knowledgeable staff, seperate fryer, GF options on menu and interchangeable GF options on key menu items. Lacking in desserts but meals are big enough you don’t need dessert.

Two dining areas. A restaurant and a gastro pub. The restaurant menu was 80% GF, knowledgeable staff who also said seperate fryers used in the gastro pub. The restaurant food is high end, high quality, well worth a visit
