The restaurant is run by a religious group that makes everything themselves and also sells their own line and other companies lines of natural products (eg. Toothpaste, shampoo, Yerba mate, naturals cleaning products, baby cream etc.). The place felt peaceful and has a homey feel for sure but you’ll certainly notice different things you don’t always see. Food wise they make incredible sandwiches. I had the Rueben with their homemade gluten free bread (which they also sell) and their coleslaw and it was delicious! They also make latte’s and other delicious tea’s. If your familiar with Yerba teas this is a good place for you! I don’t find that staff serving are particularly knowledge always on gluten free but they will always ask the cooks and since items are more natural/ homemade it’s easy for them to find out. 👍🏼 I’m a pretty sensitive celiac and have had no issues but I’m unsure of their facilities in the back and how well the separate the gluten free from the non-GF.
