The Yucatan Beach Stand

Visited for dinner to find that they did not have a gluten free menu, nor were items listed as GF on their main menu. Server did not have much knowledge of what I could eat. Was able to order grilled fish and vegetables after the server consulted their chef but their selection was limited on sides. Even mashed potatoes had gluten and they use a shared fryer for fries, etc. Would not recommend.

When I asked for a gf menu I was told by Everett, our server " No gf menu.. We let our customers look at the menu and decide what is gluten free. They know what they can eat." Seriously?! I will not go there again.

I had ribs and they were delicious. Huge serving too. Staff was great as well. Highly recommend. I know we will be back. Not only was food good and did not get sick, it is a really neat restaurant with boat seats at bar, large fish and a shark hanging from ceiling. You must go.
