I was told the chirashi bowl could be made gluten free by request to accommodate celiac after asking the restaurant to confirm my question with the kitchen. I placed an order for pickup for a chirashi bowl for celiac and noted the bowl must be gluten free. The ticket had my order listed as an allergy order which was a good sign to me.
After getting the order I asked the waiter to confirm the meal was gluten free because I was surprised to see tamago included. The waiter confidently told me the order was gluten free. It wasn't. It turns out the tamago, pickled vegetables, and one of the types of tuna contain gluten.

I am severely allergic to gluten I ate here last night and I didn’t get sick! The waiter was very knowledgeable and before he did anything he set down gf soy sauce on the table. The menu is clearly marked gf. Some of the rolls marked with gf had a sauce that had to be omitted but the waiter knew exactly what to omit. I got: snowmageddan roll, three amigos roll, heartbreaker roll- no sauce, avocado. I highly recommend this place. It was delicious.

I went with my daughter yesterday for lunch . She had gone previously and assured me there were gf options . Sure enough they had several rolls listed ! There may have been more but I just wanted rolls. I got the Three Amigos and a Smoked salmon roll. When I ordered the waitress asked me if it was a preference or celiac . She said if she alerts the kitchen they do a complete wipe down and make the gf rolls on a separate counter. She said the manager is alerted and everything. The rolls were amazing 🤩 and add that to the fact the staff alerts the kitchen makes me want to go back !
