Love, love this place! This was our second time visiting. Had to try some fall flavors this go around as well as staples such as the cake pop and lemon donut. A little on the pricey end, but the peace of mind is absolutely worth it. Will be adding this to our list any time we stop in Traverse City.
So good! I’m not vegan and the vegan breakfast sandwich weirds be out a bit but it was good to have a safe breakfast on a trip with my family. It did taste good but I would personally prefer real egg, cheese, and sausage. The baked goods are so good! The chocolate cake pops stood out, so heavenly! I got a small cherry pie, it actually did not hit the spot unfortunately.
There’s something truly fantastic about eating something we can’t normally have such as a cake or cookie with 100% peace that you won’t get sick. I actually got choked up the first time I ate a donut from Third Coast 😅 absolutely delicious and the care that is taken to keep the environment allergen free is second to none. Heather, the owner, is dedicated to making sure the GF community doesn’t have to go without yummy treats. Highly recommend stopping by and grabbing coffee and a ginger cookie or maybe the peanut butter one…or the mocha donut or wait, the lemon one is also delicious…or the cookie dough slices or the chocolate peanut butter brownies…
This place is amazing!! Stopped here on our way by to Petoskey. The lady working double checked ingredients for me as well since I cannot have oats. I was able to get several donuts to try and a brownie. My husband got a chocolate chip muffin which was also good. Wish I lived closer so I could come here more often. Everything we got to try was a 10/10!
Have you ever ordered something and wondered if it really was GF because it was so good? Everything at Third Coast is this way. You will be mad when you buy a loaf of bread and realize you can’t go back to store-bought. You will have the sweetest dreams about the peanut butter chocolate brownies. The owner and staff are exceptional humans. Go here even if you’re not Celiac. I make it a point to stop every summer when we visit from NC. Best bakery ever.
Such a wonderful experience on a beautiful Saturday morning. We had coffee a cinnamon roll, a blueberry slice, and two loves of bread. All these were of superior quality (and yes totally GF). It was very crowded with multigenerational families, and groups of friends. This is a fabulous bakery!!
Amazing GF cookie and mocha was creamy with their almond milk. DF facility too.
This place was PACKED with a line out the door and I can see why! For me, it was worth the trip! The donuts are DELICIOUS (albeit they crumble a crazy amount haha) and so are the brownies. The banana nut muffins, however, were dry and spongier than the other baked goods so I wasn’t keen on those but they are far from the worst I’ve had GF. The breakfast sandwiches, however.. the bagels were soggy yet the cheese wasn’t fully melted and the vegan patty was very mushy and unflavorful. I was both so surprised and so disappointed that it didn’t match up to the rest of the food there, but it’s definitely someone’s cup of tea. I hiiiighly recommend the baked goods, stop by if you’re in the area!
I do not understand tha magic and wizardy they are doing at Third Coast. Their Ginger Snap cookies are some of the best gluten free items I have ever eaten, and honestly some of the best cookies I have ever had. My only regret is that I did not buy more to bring home. They also list their ingriendents on their website which is very helpful for someone who has a lot of food allergies.
I have had breakfast here every day for the last three days of my vacation. I have tried something new every day and it all has been so delicious! The ginger snaps cookies are to die for. I also had two different lattes- lavender vanilla was my favorite. 100% gluten free. Love this place so much!
This is an awesome little bakery! The donuts are amazing [not dry at all, idk why some are saying that] and the scones are scrumptious! My non-GF friend got 2 donuts and wanted more, said they were the best he's had in a while. And I adore the exterior, the flower garden is just so beautiful. I just wish they served breakfast meats, it would make for the perfect GF breakfast sanctuary.
It's great to have this option in TC, several things to choose from and very few had almonds which I'm allergic to. I got a mini pie, cake, and a few donuts. I was disappointed to find the donuts were very dry, although they had good flavor. The pie was very good and the cake was not bad. If this is what your diet requires and you have a sweet tooth, check it out.
The selection here is amazing! Granola, cookies, pie, donuts, breakfast sandwiches, lattes, etc. All gluten free and delicious. Completely gluten free facility. I heard another customer say that she had been there 3 days in a row and everything she tried was really good. The place was busy - that tells you it's highly recommended. Even thought they were busy the staff was fast and extremely helpful and friendly. Absolutely recommend this place!!
