Visit was disappointing for a trendy bar that should know better. Very few GF offerings. Outdated salad offerings and menu does not try to work for GF customers. Went with a friend and ate olives for dinner. Just olives. The only plus is that they had a great GF beer from Maine available. But overall 3 Penny should know better and do better, especially considering their reputation. I won’t be back.

Not much on the menu for a gluten free person. Nothing is marked GF. They have udis buns for hamburgers. They did have two cider options on tap and one kambucha. For everyone else there is a great beer menu including several from Hill Farmstead.

Kitchen help came out to let me know too many points of cross-contact for anything but salad. Everyone was very helpful.

Great menu with lots of GF options - including gf buns. Daughter had a burger and fries and could not have been happier. Great beer menu for non-celiacs!

I had GF chicken nuggets, tater tots and a side of kimchi. The GF nuggets : OMG SO GOOD. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area.

The waiter was upfront saying there could be cross-contamination with anything fried. They have two fryers but do not guarantee that only GF is fried in one.
Many GF items that aren't fried. I'd go back

Had the GF fish and chips and it was amazing. Asked about the fryers and when I went they said the only things that are fried on their menu are gluten free but sometimes specials are not. Have Celiac and did not get sick.

Driving North and decided to stop for a quick bite and a drink. The bartender was knowledgeable and knew each of the items on the menu that were GF. My wife and I both have Celiac. We ordered the TPT fries while at the bar. The fries were great and 4 hours later we are both still fine.

Went in for dinner because it was reccomended for their gluten free fries. The waiter informed me that the fries were not safe for people with Celiac because, while they are cooked in a "dedicated fryer" they blanched in a fryer with gluten items. So nothing fryed is actually gluten free. We ended up leaving before eating.

French Fries!!!!! Fish and Chips!!! Can't go wrong at Three Penny Taproom. Staff helps you navigate the menu, they have a dedicated fryer and a fine cocktail list in case you are bored with their long list of ciders.
Yes
BEST gluten free burger and fries! They also serve a gluten free Stowe Cider. Staff is knowledgeable about gluten free and extremely friendly

Visited on a whim while traveling to Burlington. They had a great understanding of Celiac and cross contamination. I had a burger and fries (dedicated gf fryer). By far THE best burger (with home made gf bun) and fries that I have ever had. My husband loved his non gf meal as well. We will definitely be visiting again on our next trip.
Yes
They have a gluten free menu and dedicated fryer, but served beer sauce on the fries which were marked as gluten free!! Staff was totally clueless.

Fantastic gf and vegan menu. Gf fries. The corncake English muffin that my burger was served on was delicious. (Phenomenal beer selection BTW)
