I ate at Tia Carmen twice during my stay at the JW Marriott and felt very safe! The vast majority of the dinner menu is gluten free (and marked gluten free.) It’s nice that things that are marked GF are ACTUALLY GF with no cross contamination. The chef told me they don’t have anything fried that contains gluten (they mostly use corn based items.)
Breakfast is a buffet with lots of gf items but I skipped it out of cross contamination fears. However, they also have an omelette station and the chef assured me there was nothing containing gluten there, so I felt safe getting an omelette and did not get sick.
The chef told me they deal with allergies all the time and have equipped the restaurant to handle it!
