Tito’s Tacos

Can’t believe this isn’t more of a celiac spot… they make so much food that everything is made in its own station. There are videos online about their kitchen. Beef tacos and chips and salsa are my go-to!!! Unsure about the tamales because I’ve never asked!! Obviously no burritos. Eat here for real genuine 1950’s cuisine yummmm

Just called and they said flour tortillas are only on burritos, which do not go in the fryer -- only corn tortillas and chips do. The hostess also informed me the tamales are also gf.

The cashier informed me that there is a shared fryer for the corn tacos and flour tortillas. Not safe for celiac or those who are avoiding cross-contamination

From what the staff has told me, the only food with gluten is their flour tortilla. The chips and taco shells are made from corn tortillas and are fried in a separate fryer. I've had dozens of tacos here over the years and have never gotten sick.
