It states on the menu that they use the same prep surfaces for gf and non-gf items. I ate here against my better judgment and was sick all day after that. Would not recommend for sensitive people as they do take precautions when it comes to cross contamination.
Will not trust these people, would not recommend and will never eat here again. Ordered GF, told them I had an allergy and specifically asked them to mark it. Brought me toast and it didn't look gluten free, so I asked... three people. They all said it was. Ate one bite and immediately felt sick. The manager came over and I asked him if it was gluten free and he said absolutely not. Even though I told them and asked, I was still given toast that was gluten. Extremely disappointed and weeks later still felt sick.
My girlfriend who is Celiac, saw that this place had gluten free French toast. Of course she was excited... So we ordered and stressed that it be gluten free due to her disease... The French toast came out and was not gluten free... Needless to say she will now be sick for 6-8 weeks. THESE PEOPLE CANNOT BE TRUSTED!
I have Celiac's and every time I have eaten here I have had a reaction possibly from cross-contamination. I had gluten free toast so I am assuming they still toast the GF bread in the same toaster as the regular bread. There could have been other cross-contamination issues as well.
Great place for breakfast/brunch/lunch. The avocado omelette is fantastic! I've eaten here many times in the past two or three years and have not gotten sick. However, if you have Celiac DO NOT ORDER TAKEOUT. I have ordered takeout from this restaurant twice (with more than a year between orders) and have gotten sick both times. Not sure what's going on, but I'll never make that mistake again.
