I went in there with high hopes. Sadly they were dashed down the toilet.
TL/DR: 1/10 recommend if you have a gluten allergy do not eat here, it is not safe at all.
When asking if there is a separate gluten free menu at the host station I was told "no but we have more gluten free options than most other restaurants." Sat at my table, looked over the menu and didn't see a single thing marked gluten free, or gluten free mentioned on the menu (other than the hollandaise sauce)
When my server came over I asked him what is gluten free. He said that any toast, pancake, or waffle can be made gluten free, along with most of the dishes....so I asked if the gluten free pancakes and waffles were made on the same waffle iron/grill as the non gluten free ones. He was nice enough to go ask the kitchen, came back pretty quickly and said "yes, they are not safe" so I asked if the toast is made in the same toaster, and he emphatically said "no, the toast is toasted separately."
So I ordered the eggs Benedict with potatoes (with gluten free bread obviously). He came back after putting in my order and said that all potatoes on the menu contain gluten.
I guess where ever they buy them all from puts wheat flower in their potatoe products for some stupid reason.
So anyway, I ordered gluten free avocado toast to go with my eggs Benny.
I gotta say, it was delicious, everything tasted great from the coffee to all the food, and service was amazing.
I was so happy and excited to bring my wife sometime. Then about 20 minutes after leaving I had to stop at a gas station to use the restroom. I got glutened horribly. It's now been about 2 hours and I'm sick as all hell. I'm writing this as I leave work early (at here for lunch).
DO NOT EAT HERE IF YOU HAVE ANY SORT OF INTOLERANCES TO GLUTEN.
Server was very knowledgeable and even shared their experience with their own allergies and how seriously the kitchen takes allergies. The menu had plenty of things marked gluten free. No dedicated toaster (they cooked the bread on the flat top) or frier. Food was delicious and there was minimal anxiety, a rarity nowadays when eating out.
I came here for the first time for brunch with my friends and I had the most amazing experience. I can’t have any gluten or dairy. I let the waiter know and he was very nice about it. He wasn’t rude or condescending, and he answered all of my questions. The food was AMAZING. The GF break was very thick, which, you all know that GF is always thin and little. I had avocado toast with 3 eggs and bacon. It was delicious. I will be returning to get the gluten free pancakes soon. They also have gluten free waffles and French toast. I felt right at home here. Also in the front there’s vegan and gluten free bakery items. They had pies and cake. I have to try next time!
