They claim to have a gluten free brownie but it is placed right next to other baked goods and they admitted that they know it is cross contaminated.

You're right! Because we make everything right there behind the coffee bar, we aren't able to eliminate the possibility of cross-contamination from shared equipment. That's why we've opted to house the brownies in the same display case as everything else--to help make it clear to those with true allergies that it isn't a safe option. But for those who just have a gluten sensitivity, the brownies would be a viable option, as they are made with gluten-free flour. This is a downside of making everything ourselves in our small space. Thanks for clarifying for everyone!
