Review of 戸越屋 渋谷道玄坂店

This is a specialty onigiri store that makes fresh onigiri to order. You are seated at a counter under which is a pull out tablet where you order. There’s no English or allergen menu so I had to ask the staff about each item I wanted to order. I ended up ordering the salmon onigiri and spicy pork miso soup (旨辛豚汁) after the server double checked there was no wheat. Cross contamination is a possibility since many of their toppings do include soy sauce. Do NOT drink the provided tea, it is barley tea (麦茶). You will need to order a drink or ask for water.
