I have eaten at Tolon probably 6 times since being diagnosed a year ago. Everything I’ve ever ordered has always come back gf on my Nima, so I’ve stopped testing. They have earned my trust that when they say it’s gf or gfo, they will reliably make it safe for me. Only once did I find a crumb of gluten on my gfo cheesecake during our recent anniversary dinner. But I caught it and they were so apologetic and remade it with changed gloves and the chef’s supervision. It’s a good reminder to always visually inspect your food no matter where you’re eating, but I really do trust the staff and management here and the food is absooooolutely delicious as well! Bonus points for having some great df options on most menus as well!
They change their menus seasonally, but some amazing staples are their duckfat fries and the deviled eggs. Their salads are crazy delicious as well! It’s hard to pick a favorite dish, but I do wish they kept the winter dessert of the pot of chocolate! I can’t even remember the actual name! But it was heaven in a mason jar! 😂😂
All items that are gf are marked on the menu as gf or gf option which I love. The food is amazing!
Knowledgeable wait staff, menu features a large percentage of dishes marked GF with several others having available GF version upon request. Farm to table, fresh local ingredients, excellent safe dining experience.
staff is very knowledgeable of what gluten is and of ingredients in the dishes. they take extra caution to ensure a completely contamination free experience. always a delicious and safe experience.
