Tomi Hibachi Japanese Grill & Sushi

I door dashed from them after I called directly to ask about there gluten free options, they were helpful, told me how to order and I can happily say, my hibachi steak & chicken was delicious and I had zero bad reactions! I’ll be ordering again! I was even able to have fried rice! Yaaaa for gluten free soy sauce!

**Edit 10/2023- the last couple of times we’ve tried to order the confidence in their gluten free offerings has decreased. They’ve changed some recipes and cannot assure the safeness of them. Last time I called, no sushi was gf and the yum yum was no longer gf. Very disappointing.

Only place right in Louisville I feel comfortable eating at. They’re super nice and there’s been a little language barrier with ordering with some of the employees but they are so nice and always double check to be sure. They can do hibachi and some sushi rolls gf. Not sure what else can be done, that’s all I’ve gotten there.

Had GF Hibachi rice and it was amazing, can’t tell the difference between it and “regular”. I haven’t tried the sushi but I hear it’s great as well
